The Important Announcements Forum, here, is an automatically generated forum in all Moodle courses, usually called 'News Forum' (but the name has been changed for clarity). In this forum, only the Course Tutor can make 'announcements' or postings, thus ensuring a clean forum. All participants in the course are also forced to subscribe to this forum, thus ensuring that email copies of each posting made here are received by each participant.
This forum will be used for important news announcements throughout the Course. It is set up so that each of you will be automatically alerted by email whenever I post a new message/announcement.
