Many Family Life Educators — new and experienced — have difficulty fully understanding and applying tools needed to evaluate the success of an educational program. The correct use of Bloom’s Taxonomy allows educators and administrators to form clear learning outcomes to accomplish their goals.

This interactive webinar, presented by Deborah Gentry, Ed.D., CFLE, will provide a user-friendly approach to applying Bloom’s Taxonomy that will enhance Family Life Educators' abilities to plan, deliver, and assess educational courses, workshops, lessons, and trainings.

By attending the webinar, you will be able to:

  • provide the history of Bloom's Taxonomy and how it is hierarchically organized;
  • summarize best practices associated with using Bloom’s Revised Taxonomy for purposes of curriculum and instructional design endeavors;
  • properly apply the taxonomy to formulate goals, objectives, and/or learning outcomes for courses, workshops, lessons, or training sessions; and
  • identify and plan meaningful activities for learners which, when completed, will provide evidence of how well the stated goals, objectives, and/or learning outcomes were achieved.

Approved for 1 CFLE hour of continuing education credit.
