In this webinar, Deborah Roffman, CFLE, CSE, will summarize common questions asked by young children and provide guidance on how practitioners can guide guardians to respond to these questions. Specifically, the presenter will teach attendees how to assist guardians to (1) create authentic partnerships between families and schools based in children's core developmental needs and the shared roles of key nurturers in children's lives; (2) respond successfully to "pushback" and other potential barriers regarding the education of younger children around sexuality and gender; and (3) recruit allies who will lend support to establishing accurate cognitively congruent benchmarks.

Approved for 1.5 CFLE contact hours of continuing education credit.
