This webinar will cover when and how to use t-tests to answer research questions, how to interpret results, and how to run the t-test in a statistical software (primarily in SPSS, but additional resources will be provided for STATA and MPLUS). This webinar is a great way to build confidence in doing t-tests as well as refresh and enhance existing skills.

Overall, attendees will leave this webinar with the ability to:

  • Assess the benefits and limitations of running t-tests with your data
  • Run a t-test on real examples in Family Science during and after the webinar
  • Interpret the results of a t-test to answer a variety of research questions
