This webinar will provide clarity on how a Family Life Educator—compared to a therapist or other helping professional—can be particularly beneficial in supporting families during crises. Webinar participants will be guided on how to make decisions regarding their role as educators and will explore specific techniques for use in educational environments that discuss family stress.

By attending this webinar, students and family professionals at various experience levels will be able to reflect on their role and their readiness to respond to family stress situations. The skills taught will encourage attendees to prepare themselves and build partnerships that will allow them to react quickly and effectively to reduce negative family outcomes and facilitate family resilience in the face of unexpected demands.
